Un transeúnte lo abandonó atado a una farola hace ya 7 largos años.
¿ No crees que ya lleva mucho tiempo encerrado en el albergue esperando a
que alguien le de un poco de cariño?
Es algo dominante con otros perros del albergue (no sabemos su comportamiento fuera de él) , pero eso es algo que con atención podrá corregirse. Es muy cariñoso y fiel. Siempre que llega alguien al albergue y pasea cerca de su vallado, Boris se acerca corriendo a su puerta y se pone en pie para lamerle y pedirle unos mimos. Cuando entras se vuelve como loco ofreciéndote sus patitas para que las cojas (una primero y la otra después),... es feliz sólo con le hagas unas caricias. Con su compañera de vallado, Navi, se lleva fenomenal. Está deseando conocer lo que es un hogar de verdad, ¿No ves esa carita tristona de peluchito? es la tristeza acumulada a lo largo de estos años porque no entiende como nadie ha querido su compañía. Pero a pesar de ello, él no dudará en ofercértela una y otra vez.

Hier seht ihr Boris. Ein Obdachloser liess ihn vor acht Jahren an einer Straßenlaterne angebunden zurück. Meinst du nicht, dass er nun schon sehr lange hier eingeschlossen im Tierheim auf ein neues Zuhause wartet? Nach so langer Zeit sehnt er sich sehr nach einem liebevollen und gemütlichen Zuhause. Im Tierheim verhält er sich den anderen Hunden gegenüber etwas dominant, wie es außerhalb wäre, wissen wir nicht. Früher teilte er sich einen Zwinger mit unserer zum Glück inzwischen schön vermittelten Hündin Navi, und die beiden vertrugen sich bestens. Aber seine Kompagnons wollen gut ausgewählt sein.
Gegenüber Menschen ist er aber wahnsinnig anhänglich und auch gegenüber Fremden aufgeschlossen und freundlich. Immer wenn jemand in das Tierheim kommt und seinen Zwinger passiert, flitzt Boris zur Tür, um dort ein paar Streichelheiten zu erbetteln. Wenn man den Zwinger betritt, freut er sich total, gibt abwechselnd die eine und die andere Pfote und kuschelt sich fest an. Er legt einem die Schnauze in den Schoß, wedelt, drückt sich an einen... Er ist glücklich, wenn er nur ein bisschen Aufmerksamkeit geschenkt bekommt.
Wenn man sich sein Gesicht ansieht, kann man die von vielen Jahren aufgestaute Traurigkeit sehen, weil er nicht versteht, warum niemand seine Anwesenheit wünscht. Aber trotzdem gibt er nicht auf, sich ein ums andere Mal anzubieten. Vielleicht gibst du ihm ja die Chance, die er verdient hat?

Some passer-by left him tied up to a streetlamp 7 years ago. He has been a lot of time in the refuge waiting for someone to give him a bit of affection. Don't you think it's time for him to know what a real home is???
He is a bit aggressive and dominant with other dogs in the refuge (we don't know about this characteristic out of it), but we think that is something you will be able able to correct with attentionand patience. Whenever someone comes to our refuge and walks close to Boris' enclosure, Boris runs quickly to the gate of his enclosure, he stands up in order to lick him and ask to be stroked....
If you come into Boris enclosure he becomes so happy that he starts licking you and he offers you his leg, one after the other,... he is never tired of doing it !!! He is so easy to make happy! You just have to stroke him!! He is lovinf and he is one of our most affectionate dogs with people. He gets on very well with Navi, her companion in his enclosure. He is dreaming about knowing wahta real home is. can't you see his sad eyes in the picture above??? That' because his sadness throughout all these years, because he cannot understand how no one has wanted his company. But despite this, he will offer you his love unconditionally.
He is really, really sociable, friendly, and loving to people; and he doesn't give any problem.
